As a social enterprise, we are committed to ensuring our programs have a positive impact, which we measure against our aims:

  • Improving cultural understanding between the UK and China
  • Promoting language learning
  • Inspiring the next generation of UK teachers while developing their skills in supporting students for whom English is an Additional Language

Each year, we review and analyse our programs to assess how well they are helping us achieve these goals and where we could develop further in the future. A summary of our annual social impact report is attached below:


Katie (Abridge EduCamp)

Katie has taught English and Science at schools, summer camps and privately to students across China, working with every age group from young learners up to university preparation classes. Having achieved a PGCE (UK official teaching qualification) and 180-hour TEFL course, Katie is able to advise on both pedagogical theory and practical teaching techniques.
